Eliezer Sanchez had a double-double by scoring 16 points and 18 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Edwin Cornejo chipped in 16 points during the contest. American-Laos guard Kadeim Jones (191-1999, college: UWG) responded with 21 points and 8 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
The game between Salvadorenos and Santa Ana in San Salvador on Wednesday ended with biggest points difference. Salvadorenos outscored guests from Santa Ana 104-56. Ibrahima Traore notched a double-double by scoring 17 points and 13 rebounds to lead the effort. Even 22 points and 22 rebounds by Daylon Potts did not help to save the game for Santa Ana. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
